So I have been meaning to post this for the last couple weeks, after the first time I saw this commercial. Well, this morning I saw it again and had to whip out my laptop to share it with you all (in case you haven't seen it yet!).
You may remember a little over a year ago I posted about Dior's Secret Garden advertisement. Beautiful models wearing amazing designs...and paired with a classic Depeche Mode song. It doesn't get much better than that! Well, I was wrong! The new commercial is just as amazing!!!
When I arrived my inner art historian was so so so very happy! Red, Yellow and Blue makes you feel like you are in a scene in Alice in Wonderland...or a Dr. Seuss book. So magical and whimsical, don't you agree? This art installation just screamed fun!
Isn't the scalloped hemline just too adorable for words? So feminine...so girlie. It adds a little something special to this rather simple dress.
~Save some serious cash while shopping for your man at Nordstrom during their half-yearly sale for men.
~Be sure to hit up Bloomingdale's while shopping this weekend. They are having their T.G.I.June sale from now through Sunday, June 23rd. Take an extra 15% off of your purchase (no matter how you pay!). Also, take an extra 20% off when you spend $250 or more with your Bloomingdale's credit card.
If I could be transported back to any decade I think it would have to be the 1960's. Fashion from that time was so cutting edge. And what is even more amazing is that it's still in style today!
From capri pants, to mod shift dresses, to bell-bottoms, to white tall boots...this decade was ever changing. However, I think when anyone thinks of the 1960's we all immediately think of a particular stylish couple: Elvis and Priscilla.
Blondes may have more fun (or so they say), but not everyone looks good as a blonde. Recently we all noticed Anne Hathaway's blonde locks...and I made it very known that I was not a fan. I love Anne, but sometimes us brunette gals need to stick to our roots! With my skin tone I know I could never pull of a blonde hairstyle.
I thought it would be fun to look back at some photos of celebrities that have gone a little crazy with the bleach and Sun-In. It takes some guts to try a new hair color...I'll give them that. But I am very happy to see they all learned from these hair disasters.
Over the last year skincare has really taken precedence in my beauty regime. Maybe it's because a few years ago my skin became prone to breakouts (way worse than when I was a teenager). Or maybe it's because I'm now 32 years old and I'm realizing that I have to start keeping a good skincare routine in order to have young looking and flawless skin as I age. I mean, who doesn't want to age gracefully?
Besides the multiple creams and sunscreens that I use, water is definitely up there on my skin care must haves. We always have heard that the more H2O we drink the better it is for our bodies, especially our skin. Since hydration is key, I was very excited to try out Gatineau's Salon Skin Hydration Boost products.
This two piece collection includes an Aquamemory Moisture Replenish mask (75ml) and an Aquamemory Moisture Replenish concentrate (30ml). I have been using the concentrate twice a day (in the morning when I wake up, and again before I go to bed), and the facemask twice a week. In the short time that I have been using these products I already have noticed a difference. My skin is softer, smoother, and overall much clearer.
Disclosure: Products were sent to me to try. Reviews are all my own opinions.

Today is a very special day! Snapshot Fashion is turning five!!! Seems like just yesterday I decided to start this blog. Did I expect it to last five years? Honestly, I never really thought much of it. Just thought of it as a hobby, as a way to express myself, and a creative outlet where I could share my love of fashion and shopping. I am so proud to be a part of the fashion blogging community, and can't wait to see where this year takes my blog.
And now I'd like to ask you...what would you like to see more of on Snapshot Fashion??? Please let me know. I love the feedback!
