Cate Blanchett showed up to a welcome dinner for the Sydney Theatre Company at the Armani/Ristorante in New York City wearing this single-shoulder Armani Prive design. I absolutely love the way this bold shade of purple stands out on her pale complexion. The only part of the dress that I'm still not too sure if I like is the tassel that hangs from the hip down to the floor.
Perfection. Absolute stunning perfection. That tassel gives the dress some pop and a bit of balance for the one shoulder. I think it's a beautiful modification and I MUCH prefer this look to the actual runway version! Bravo yet again for Cate the Great!
