Cover Story- Vogue January 2014

It's a new year, and I thought it would be fun to see how one of my favorite magazines is showcasing their first issue of 2014. Below you will find a number of the different magazine covers for Vogue's January issue. Which one is your favorite???

Personally, I think Mexico and UK are the most striking covers. I don't know about you, but I am so thrilled that 2014 is here. I new year brings new fashion and trends! Can you believe in just over a month NYFW will be here?

Which cover is your favorite? Personally, I can't get enough of the covers for Korea and UK. The colors for the UK cover are so bright and bold...I love that! And there is just something about the cover for Korea that just draws me in.

Cover Story

September is not only huge for the runways, but also for fashion magazines everywhere. I know when I think of the September issue, I instantly think of Vogue...as well as the documentary of the same name (which I loved!). If you have yet to see it definitely add it to your Netflix queue right away!

I thought it would be fun to see how Vogue is showcasing their covers for this much anticipated issue. Let's take a trip around the stylish world of Vogue.

Cover Story

What I love about fashion and trends is that around the world they are all different. What one country finds fashionable, might not be in style half way around the world. Since I don't have a ton of money to go jetsetting all over the world, I find that magazines give us a great insight on what is trendy and stylish around the globe. Something that I love to do when I'm bored is checking out different issues from around the world of my favorite magazines. For instance, I recently was browsing the many sites of Vogue and came upon so many fabulous (and totally different) covers. It's really interesting to see the trends from all over the world!

Which cover is your favorite? I think my favorite out of this bunch has to be the UK's. The cover is so soft and feminine. I adore the colors used.

Fashion's Night Out- New York

So many designers, celebrities, and fashionistas took part in Fashion's Night Out last night. In a global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion, U.S. and international editions of Vogue have coordinated an evening of extravaganzas in their respective world fashion capitals.





I am really sad I did not have a chance to take part in this last night...especially since I live in NYC. I was (and still am) not feeling very well.
