My Style

I hope everyone had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. Early Saturday morning my husband and I (and dog) packed up the car and headed out east to Orient, NY (which is on the end of the northern tip of Long Island). My in-laws have a beach house out there...and I don't think we've been out there since Memorial Day of last year.

We had fantastic weather out there (upper 70s), which was about 15-20 degrees cooler than the weather here in Pennsylvania. We went on a walk by the beach, ate a ton of seafood, went out to a bar on the dock, and really had a very relaxing weekend. Oh how I needed it!

Must Have Color Combos

Make your way onto any red carpet and you will certainly come across this fabulous color combination: white and nude. This is a winning look on anyone! Chic and classy...and always on trend. If I can suggest any look for the spring/summer season I would tell you to make sure you have a little white dress and a pair of nude pumps. Apologies...

Hey everyone! No I have not been on vacation. No I haven't been sick. So why the lack of posts? I got a new job recently and have been working many more hours than normal. I have been trying to schedule posts ahead of time...but obviously haven't been doing a great job of that. So I wanted to tell all my readers, I AM SO SORRY that I have become such a bad blogger.  :-(   I am going to do my best to really start scheduling posts ahead of time. Once I start getting into the swing of my new job (and new hours) I think my posts will start being more regular again.

One thing I love from Anthropologie is their jewelry. Necklaces are a huge weakness of mine...and their collection of neck wear is top notch! I came across this Pretty Prattle Necklace and it stopped me in my tracks! Don't you just love all the colors? You could literally wear this with just about anything. Dress it up, or dress it down...it is the perfect accessory.
