Flutter Into Spring

On my way home tonight I made a detour through McCarren Park to the dog park (Rocko's most favorite spot in the world). As he ran around I realized something...spring is finally here! The dogs in the park were smiling and having a good time, the birds were chirping, the flowers on the trees were blooming, and it was 70 degrees! It will be just a matter of time before the butterflies start to emerge from their cocoons. Until then, I suggest you prep your wardrobe with the butterfly print trend that is taking over the season.

Butterfly Flared Dress available at Pixie Market- $76

Butterfly Garden Gown by Erin Fetherston available at Anthropologie- $395

Don't you just love it? How do you plan on wearing this fun print?

Lookin' Fab

One designer I just love is Erin Fetherston. Not only are her designs super cute, but so is her own personal style. Here she is in a dress she designed at the Sixth Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards. I really like the colors of this dress, as well as the neckline!

Dress I love...deer in headlights expression, not so much.  :-P

H&M Celebrates with Matthew Williamson

Yesterday we showed you an adorable photo of Mary-Kate taken while she attended a party that was celebrating the collaboration between H&M and Matthew Williamson. We figured if MK is looking this adorable there must be a fashionable crowd at this event. We still think MK stole the show...but here are some of our other favorite pics from that evening:

From top to bottom: Alexis Bledel, Amanda Setton, Erin Fetherston, and Helena Christensen.

Fashion Week is here in NYC...so we're going to try to keep you up to date with some of our favorite designers and our favorite looks from their ready-to-wear spring 2009 season. We're starting off with: Erin Fetherston.

Her collection was full of sheer fabrics, pastel colors, and lots of ruffles. All of the clothing in this '09 collection would make any woman feel extra feminine.
