You can forget about winter whites. Gold is an amazing shade for the season. Not only does it warm your your skin tone and look fabulous on everyone...it really elevates a simple look and makes it look luxe. Even if you are not a glamour girl, just adding some gold accessories to any look is a simple way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe.

Freezing on the Red Carpet

I was so surprised to hear that it's going to be a chilly evening tonight on the red carpet in Los Angeles. We're talking in the 40s people! My first thought was, what are the actresses going to be wearing to stay warm? Long sleeves, maybe? Or will they opt for a jacket or shawl of some sort? I personally know that if I were there I'd be wearing SOMETHING (anything) on my arms. I know that when my arms are cold it makes my entire body cold. I thought that these jackets would be totally wearable over a stunning Oscar gown and not distracting.

So many celebrities have been making hitting up the shows at the tents. Gotta enjoy Bryant Park while they still can for New York Fashion Week. Moving the tents to Lincoln Center next season just won't be the same!

The Golden Globes

I'm sure many of you know that the Golden Globes were last night. Despite some unfortunate weather, I'd say that the evening was a success. There were only a few dresses that I really couldn't stand. Most of Hollywood really looked fabulous last night. And didn't you just love Ricky Gervais? HILARIOUS!

Beauty Flashback

Ever think to yourself...if only I was a celebrity I would never have to worry about my hair or makeup looking bad again. Do you really think that the rich and famous always look (or have looked) picture perfect? Well think again. Maybe it was before they hit it big, maybe they were going through an awkward phase, or even worse...they could have been growing up in the 1980's. Whatever their excuse was, I'm sure these celebs wish that they could burn some of these images...but I guess hair and makeup really is a learning experience.
