PRODUCT REVIEW- Kiss My Face Moisture Shaves

I was so excited when my friends at Kiss My Face sent over two great Moisture Shaves for me to try out. In this insanely dry, winter weather we've been having here in the northeast my skin needs all the moisture it can get!

Kiss My Face Moisture Shaves are great because they have a 4-in-1 shave formula: vitamin E and oils soften the skin; the creme formula provides a smooth, close shave; lemongrass, aloe, and golden seal help soothe; and the olive and coconut oils moisturize. There are no aerosols or unnecessary chemicals in this product...which is an A+ in my book.

This product comes in six scents including: cool mint, key lime, lavender and shea, patchouli moisture, green tea and bamboo, and fragrance free. Kiss My Face sent over lavender and shea and key lime for me to try. Both smell so amazing! But the key lime won over my heart. Lime is one of my all time favorite scents. It's so refreshing and reminds me of summer time.

Be sure to pick up on a Moisture Shave today at Whole Foods or KissMyFace.com
$7.95 (11 oz.) and $4.99 (3.4 oz.)

Look of the Day- Boho Peter Pan

Look of the Day

1) Foley + Corinna Southside Hobo available at Piperlime- $350
2) New Look Contrast Collar Daisy Tea Dress available at ASOS- $43.26
3) Pin Dot Scallop-Side Tights available at Urban Outfitters- $14, or 2 for $22
4) Flotilla Booties available at Anthropologie- $138
5) Posh Wool Wide-Brim Hat available at Forever 21- $18.80

Two things that I'm lacking in my wardrobe are Peter Pan collars and anything with a bohemian vibe. I love these two styles...and when paired together they are even more adorable. Don't you agree?

My birthday is just around the corner...how about someone gifts me that dress and hat? Pretty please!

PRODUCT REVIEW- Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray

For the last week and a half I have been obsessing over the Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray that my friends at Philip Kingsley sent over for me to check out. As some of you know, I complain about my hair a lot.  It's dry, it breaks easily, etc. I have been trying a number of new products over the last few months...trying to get my hair back to looking normal. This is exactly why I was so excited to try this Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray.

It detangles, provides heat protection, repairs the damage, adds shine and volume, and even protects your hair from UV rays. I mean all that in a light spray? And it doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down. Sounds like perfection in a bottle!

I know I have only been using it for a short amount of time, but I honestly already see a difference. My hair is easier to manage, and just has an overall healthier look to it. Also, my hair isn't breaking as much...which has me very, very, very happy.

Be sure to stop by Philip Kingsley's website to purchase a bottle of Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray, and check out the rest of their fantastic line of haircare products.

Look of the Day- Sometimes Simple Is Better

Look of the Day

1) Mid Rise Skinny Jeans available at Joie- $208
2) Trim Front Blouse available at LOFT- $59.50
3) Iced Fang Bracelet available at BaubleBar- $32
4) Haven Heels in Cobalt available at Spotted Moth- $34.99
5) Bodrum Large Vegan Leather Handbag available at Brooklyn Industries- $68

On those days when I really have no idea what to wear, or feel like I don't have anything to wear, a simple outfit is usually better. Obviously if you can't figure out an outfit easily, the chances of you over accessorizing or trying too hard (which will look like you are trying too hard) are huge. Your fashion brain is turned off...and it's okay! It happens to the best of us. That's why I suggest a great pair of jeans, a fun print and/or pop of color, and some subtle accessories for a day like this. Stick to this rule and you'll always look amazing!

But there are so many amazing style trousers out there this season. From polka-dots, to floral print, to the adorable track style pants I have shown above...I want them all. Casual really can look cute! Who know?!?!

This Weekend Is Okay

Dear Brooklyn, over the last few months I'm falling more and more in love with you. Every time I wander down a street I saw to myself, I need to take photos here. Just too many beautiful backdrops in my urban oasis. I can't wait to share more with you all!

How's your weekend going? Mine is okay. Actually, I lie. It's pretty great so far. This afternoon we are probably going to hit up Mimosa Saturday at Brooklyn Industries, which I told you all about yesterday. And tonight we're heading to the East Village to see Bayside! The Musical! Yep, it's a Saved by the Bell parody! Some friends of ours saw it last week and said it was hilarious. We got some half price tickets via Living Social...and I'm so ready for a night of laughter. I'm kind of bummed I couldn't get tickets for next weekend. The real Mr. Belding is starring in it! But it sold out fast. Oh well...that's okay.

I'm definitely okay with this heatwave we're having (not sure if 40s and 50s are considered a heatwave...but in February here in NYC I'm going to say it is!). Jump if you are ready to spring into spring!!!
