Celebrity Auction: Zooey Deschanel's Shoes

I love the site Clothes Off Our Back...which is a celebrity clothing auction site. I have yet to bid on anything on there, but it's always a lot of fun to see what they have. Browsing the site today I came across these AMAZING shoes. In honor of the new summer movie 500 Days of Summer (which I can't wait to see by the way!) they are auctioning off Zooey Deschanel's Custom Designed RODO Shoes! These eggplant pumps are fabulous! They are encrusted with purple crystals all over them. Both the shoebox and shoe have a hand-written name of the actress who conceptualized them. So far there is only one bid...and you have until August 11th to get in your bids. The shoes are size 38 Euro. All proceeds from the auction benefit Clothes Off Our Back’s children's charities.

What Was She Thinking???

Rarely (if ever!) do I have anything bad to say about Rachel Bilson's sense of style. She is usually quite on target with her looks. But today I came across this picture of her in this 3.1 Phillip Lim rose-gold shorts suit and nearly fell off my chair!

I hate:
1) the color
2) the rolled up shorts
3) the long jacket paired with shorts

To me this look is all sorts of wrong. I want to know your thoughts on this look. Am I being to harsh on her? Would you wear this outfit?
