NYE Fashion- Casual vs. Dressy

I can hardly believe that tomorrow is New Year's Eve already! Am I the only one that thought that 2010 flew by? I swear, the older I get the faster each year passes.

No matter if you are planning on staying home tomorrow night (like I am), or if you are heading out to a fun cocktail party or even hitting up a nightclub...Snapshot Fashion has all your style needs covered.

Here I have put together two lists...casual and dressy. Dressing up is always fun...but if you are having a low key NYE there is no reason you still can't look cute while being very casual. So please stay away from the sweatpants and pajamas. There is no need for that!

How are you planning on spending your NYE? Will you be dressy or casual tomorrow evening?

Winter Storm Fashion

I'll be the first to admit it...I HATE SNOW! I am rather thankful that I am no longer living in NYC since they are getting dumped on. Where I am at in Pennsylvania I have heard that we are getting anything from 3-10"...basically, they have no idea. It's been coming down pretty steady for a while now, and I have even seen a few cars spin out and one get into an accident right outside my window. Such a mess!

If you are dealing with snow, like many of us are, I put together a bunch of winter wardrobe essentials that will keep you warm and looking cute while you shovel.

How do you plan on staying warm during the storm? How much snow are you suppose to get?

Model Monday

Today we're getting to know a model who is making a name for herself in the industry. Meet Arizona Muse. She has such an interesting face...and is beyond beautiful. I can't wait to see where her career takes her.

Born on: September 18, 1990 in Santa Fe, New Mexico
From model to mom: Arizona took a brief break from modeling in 2009 to give birth to her son, Nikko. She returned to work in 2010.
Jobs: She models for Urban Outfitters catalogue, and will become the face of Prada in 2011.

Dress Like A Celebrity

You may remember how I was complaining about Ginnifer Goodwin's short hair earlier this year. Well, maybe I was a little too fast to post judgement on the do. I just came across this ADORABLE picture of her at a MOCA benefit luncheon at the Beverly Hills Tod's boutique, and I don't think it is possible for her to look any cuter. Her hair is short and sassy...a little edge with a lot of sweetness. I gotta say, this hairstyle on her is starting to win me over.

Now on to the outfit! Don't you just love it? Very casual, yet totally classic. This look isn't going out of style any time soon. She looks just so chic! I adore it so much that I wanted to put together an affordable alternative for my readers that want to wear this look.

Will you be trying out this look anytime soon?

My Favorite Things

So I'm sure that most of you probably have seen Oprah's Favorite Things episode yesterday. I know I was watching with pure jealousy. Amazing items she gave away...most of which I can't afford.

I thought it would be fun to put a list together of MY favorite things. These are all items I currently own and love...and that you MUST have. So mom, if you are reading this, these are not on my Christmas list...but you might want to buy them for someone else.  :-P

Also, don't forget...Oprah is having a SECOND Favorite Things episode on Monday. Since this is her last season she is going out with a bang! Make sure you tune in. I think it's worth watching just to see the audiences faces when she surprises them. Priceless.

My Style

Over the weekend I got my hair cut and colored. It's much darker than it was (now a very deep brown)...and I love it! My hair hasn't looked this healthy and shiny in some time. I wanted to take a photo sooner, but I caught my husband's cold over the weekend. I did snap some photos...and even though my hair looked amazing, my face looked beyond ill. So today is the first day where I'm kind of feeling a bit better.

It is a very gloomy day here in Pennsylvania. I really would love to crawl back into bed, or even stay in my pjs all day long...but that's not going to make me feel any better. I thought I'd throw on a cute outfit to cheer myself up! Today I'm feeling very inspired by ballerinas (how I can't wait to see Black Swan), the color black, Keiko Lynn, and granny shoes.

What inspired your outfit today?
