Ladies Wear Lace

First off, let me start out by saying that I am BEYOND happy that spring is here! Even thought I know it is suppose to be cold again this week (and maybe even snow?!?!), I'm looking forward to packing up my winter wardrobe and making room in my closet for my spring clothing.

A huge trend this season is lace. Don't worry, we're not talking Madonna circa 1985. Small details of lace...keeping looks delicate and feminine. I feel the key to wearing lace items are to keep it simple and not over do the lace. You do not want to wear lace head to toe...that look is not going to work on anyone. So please, save yourself the embarrassment.

Here are my favorite lace looks that I feel are super wearable on everyone.

Delicate Contrast Top available at ModCloth- $34.99

Lovejoy's Tea Room Dress available at ModCloth- $47.99

Bird Print Skirt available at Forever21- $14.80

Nyara's Reign Lace Black Skirt available at LuLu's- $36.50

Bodyshaper Lace Trim Cami available at New York & Company- $19.95

Joie "Fanny" Lace Top available at Bloomingdale's- $198

Lace Shirtdress available at Delia's- $44.50

How are you planning on wearing lace this season???

I'm not usually into lace, but I love that Bloomingdales top - of course it's the most expensive. I'd wear any lace top that has simple lines and a clean cut.

I am definitely a fan of lace!! Love wearing it and love sewing things out of it... I recently made a wine colored bell sleeve dress (that has yet to debut on the blog) and am in love with it.. it was super easy to make too. :)

xx Love & Aloha
