Sometimes teeny mini skirts and super long maxi skirts just don't cut it. Midi skirts keep you always looking classy, sophisticated, and flirty. I love them. It's such an easy way to keep your look very classic, yet very current. I have a handful of midi skirts in my closet that I adore...but there are so many more I have on my radar that I need! Stay Warm In The Polar Vortex

I can't get over the weather lately! Last week when we had the snow storm the "real feel temperature" in NYC was negative 18. Now tomorrow they are saying it's going to be in the negative double digits yet again due to the polar vortex. I mean, I live in Brooklyn...not the arctic. But this frigid weather is not what I signed up for. I just do not do well with cold. EVER.

The one thing that sucks about living in NYC is that you have to walk everywhere...even in the freezing cold. How am I going to handle this? LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS. I have to admit, it's often difficult to look cute while you have a hundred layers on. I swear last week I looked like a crazy bag lady. Ugh!

Springing Into Spring With Pastels & Florals

One thing I love about springtime is the warmer weather. I don't do well with cold, at all. Often when I'm complaining about how cold winter can be people often think I must be from the south or out west. But nope! I've been living in the northeast all my life. I guess I'm just a wimp!!!

When the warmer weather comes around so do the pretty spring dresses! This year I'm loving the floral prints that are out there. What is surprising is that I'm actually loving pastel floral prints. When I look through the sea of black that is my wardrobe, I'll find colors and prints here and there...but they are always bright and bold. I can honestly say that I don't think I own anything in a pastel shade.

Nordstrom Sale

There is a huge sale going on at Nordstrom right now! The half-yearly sale for women and kids is happening now through next Sunday (May 31st). They now have items 33% off or more!
