Worst Dressed at the 2009 SAG Awards

And now for the worst dressed...

Eva Longoria- wore this Jenny Packham dress...and I really wish she wouldn't have. The color is wonderful on her...but the dress looks like a bad bridesmaid dress from the late 80's. There is just too much fabric and volume in this dress...it swallows her petite frame.

Mickey Rourke- in Dolce & Gabbana. This is just a fright! I mean, did we really expect much from him when it came to fashion? No. But I did hope that he knew basic red carpet etiquette. Posing like Al Bundy while on the red carpet is just a no-no!!!

Emily Blunt- in Pamela Rolland. She looks so uncomfortable...like she couldn't move.

Best Dressed at the 2009 SAG Awards

Overall most of the dresses at last night's SAG Awards were actually really nice. Let's talk about our favorites---

Kate Winslet- her Narciso Rodriguez dress looked so amazing on her. The color was so bold, and so perfect! The dress fit her like a glove and showed off her curves. She was the show stopper of the night!

America Ferrera- she wore Vera Wang. I love her in this black and tan design.

Evan Rachel Wood- I almost didnt recognize her in this Monique Lhuillier dress. She really looks quite lovely here.

Brooklyn Industries in Portland

Brooklyn Industries has to be one of my favorite stores. Over the last few weeks I have been reading about how they are branching out to the west coast. Currently BKI has stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Chicago...but this will all change on February 12th when they open a new store in Portland, Oregon (in Nob Hill)!

From their website:

The retail location will double as an art space, where local artists will soon have the opportunity to showcase their work. Brooklyn Industries will first introduce the gallery space with an exhibit by international artist and Brooklyn Industries President Vahap Avsar.

Brooklyn Industries' Portland location will be a 3,000 square foot retail space with an art gallery. The gallery will house timely installations, paintings, photographs, and sculptures. The unique combination of art and retail will create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that complements the creative foundation of the Brooklyn Industries brand.

The First Family Loves J. Crew

Remember a few months ago when Michelle Obama told Jay Leno about her love for J. Crew? Well, the Obama's are shopping there again. To the inauguration today President Obama's two daughters were decked out in the brand (and they just looked so cute!). And while Michelle was wearing a beautiful yellow Isabel Toledo dress she also added some J. Crew to her outfit...wearing J. Crew green gloves. I love how this family loves to wear such bold colors...and they look fabulous while doing so.

What did you think of their inauguration looks???

How I can't wait to see what Michelle wears to the ball tonight! Anyone have any ideas? Any guesses? I really hope to see her in a bold color...hopefully purple. This woman looks amazing in color! I think she'll probably show off her arms tonight...and I think that the dress will be something very simple and modern.

I never in a million years thought that I would be posting Paris Hilton in the Lookin' Fab section of Snapshot Fashion. But I gotta give the girl credit here.
