Looks for Less

I thought it would be fun to put together a looks for less post that shows dresses that would be perfect for your upcoming holiday parties...but that are also very budget friendly. We're talking under $50! Sounds impossible right? You'd be surprised by how many affordable (and very pretty) dresses there are out there. So if you are like myself and love to buy new dresses for parties but hate spending lots of money on dresses that you rarely wear this post is for you!

Click on the collage below to see where you can purchase these items.

Do you think you'll be saving some money this year and buy a dress that is fairly inexpensive? Or do you love splurging on designer cocktail dresses?

Forever XXI has some great looks, but so does ModCloth -- okay, so you might have to spend an extra fifteen dollars, but their dresses are so unique and equally chic (:

Really good idea to show those dresses, however. I wish there were more occasions to wear cocktail dresses, I absolutely adore wearing them!

Those dresses are just so awesome. Who needs designer items?

Omg, this is per-fect! And just what my horribly broke self needs! =) I'm always on the lookout for super chic, but cheap fashion, and now with New Years and everything coming up... this couldn't have come at a better time! =)
That first black asymmetrical dress is just GORGEOUS!

Beautiful selections!! I already have a lot of short party dresses so I'm on the lookout for a Grecian inspired maxi cocktail dress! Wish me luck:)

I found mine at Marshalls. They had so many cute cocktail dresses it was hard to choose.

Personally, I prefer dresses that are inexpensive. It's obvious that you won't want to be a repeat offender and don such a pretty frock more than a couple of times; therefore, by purchasing cheaper pieces I don't feel guilty about buying more in the future. Forever 21 and Lulu's are truly the most amazing places to go for inexpensive frocks! :)
