DC- A Sneak Peak

So this past weekend I headed down to Washington DC for an overnight getaway. Even though the the trip didn't really go as planned (at all), I definitely would love to go back. I didn't realize that DC was such a beautiful city. The architecture reminded me of buildings I have seen in Europe.

Two things that really surprised me:
1) The city streets were SO EMPTY! There was hardly any traffic, and no crowds at all. Such a quiet city...who knew!?!
2) This city is so clean. We must have walked ten miles all over the city (no lie)...and I did not see any graffiti at all.

Have you been to DC in the past? What were some of your favorite places to visit while in town?

It really is one of the cleanest cities I've ever been to! Chicago, in certain areas, is pretty clean as well! The last time I went, my friends and I stopped by this sushi place for lunch called Ping Pong Dim Sum. Pretty delicious but not the cheapest place.

Isn't it crazy, Diane?! Cath and I took for granted so much about D.C. because we grew up close by. The first time I went to NYC I was shocked by how noisy and dirty it was (but I love them both ;)). Hope you guys had fun even if it didn't go as planned!
