I never really have much anything bad to say about the way Emily Deschanel dresses...but then I came across this picture. YIKES! This dress has too much color and too much print for her to handle. It looks like something pulled straight out of one of the Golden Girls' closets (I'm thinking it looks like something Rose might wear).
What do you think of Emily's dress? Would you wear it???

These Bonfire pumps from Nine West are the PERFECT shoe for the season. Great to wear to work, but they also look adorable with a pair of jeans, or even out to a club. I just LOVE the bubble gum pink shade...so pretty!
"I think women should definitely choose the things that are important to indulge on or, you know, the areas where they need to save. You have to be mindful of things but not completely deprive yourself. I know that my favorite lipstick is also drugstore bought and it makes me feel good to go and just swipe some color on, it's a pick me up and those things go a really long way. Does that make sense? You know, you have a personal gauge of what's important to you style-wise."
Summer is here...and the weather in the northeast is slowly starting to warm up. So these means that it is time to break out the sundresses!

My must have item of the moment is this Ariel Skirt from Modcloth. The tiered scalloped ruffles gives this very neutral skirt some punch. Channel your inner mermaid and get one now...I have a feeling it is going to sell out quickly.
We picked a winner a few days ago but I never got a response from her...so I am very sorry Emily, but we had to move on and pick a new winner. Again, I used random.org to pick the winner...and the Dusty Pink Blake Dress winner courtesy of Chickdowntown.com is: Amanda!
Thanks again to everyone that entered! Hopefully we'll have more giveaways in the very near future! :)
"I’m just a normal girl who is comfortable with who she is. I don’t believe in changing yourself for anybody and I think it’s really important for girls to be as comfortable with themselves as possible. Sometimes I look at what really young girls wear and I can’t believe it- I have underwear that covers more than what some of them have on! I think it’s important that girls know they can be attractive and sexy in a classy way and that guys actually like that more than when they see girls who show a lot of skin. For me, I like clothes and I like to wear them to cover up."
